Objective
My objective is to present myself to a potential employer or person interested in my work as an artist that is well-trained, hard working, diligent, and creative. I love to paint, draw, sculpt, design, and enjoy all forms of creative expression.
Experience
Docent at the Art Gallery of David Heath September 24th, 2009
• Experienced and critiqued original artwork of a well-known local artist (David Heath).
• Used people skills through keeping the guest book.
• Learned appreciation of the outcome of a well-honed skill.
Care of Autistic Children February 2009-Present
• Learned day-to-day responsibilities of caring for children and young adults with special needs.
• Learned the Option Institute's technique of overcoming autism through "entering the world" of an autistic child.
• Used art as a means of communication, which eventually encouraged extensive verbal speech, eye contact, and other means of "normal" communication from the child.
• Learned extensive facts about the effects of vaccinations and how they are linked to autism.
Cracker Barrel May 2007-February 2009
• Learned people skills through interacting with customers with different tastes, desires, and needs.
• Learned how to work harmoniously with other employees and many different employers.
• Learned skills in serving tables, using the cash register, being a hostess and seating guests at their tables, proper food handling and other skills.
• Am able to remain calm in high-stress and demanding situations and am able to encourage others at the same time..

Currently working on a major in Visual Communications with a concentration in studio (fine) arts, with a minor in Psychology.

Completed middle – high school and graduated in 2006.
Skills
I am most skilled in fine arts, such as painting, drawing, and sculpting, and I also have a deep interest in learning about how I can improve my skills. I love working with kids with special needs, and am most familiar with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
